Samvahan, 101
How is
Samvahan Vibrational Massage different
from a regular massage?
Samvahan is a healing modality created
as a medicinal power that facilitates
a
persons natural healing potential. It is
a part of the Ayurvedic philosophy of
medicine. See our
Samvahan in Detail page for more
information.
Every one says the
same thing; you have to experience a
Samvahan session to get it. It is
extremely unique and yet difficult to
explain how it is so extraordinary.
While the
client lays face down on the massage
table, the technique is performed mostly
on the clients spine. The depth of the
tissue/body work often depends on the
clients preference and specific needs.
It is often a moderately deep but
extremely relaxing pressure accompanied
by a strong palpable vibration. The
technique is often slow and deliberate
as often there is an emphasis in the
earth element of muscles, ligaments and
bones.
The client most often deeply relaxes in
a sleep like state of consciousness,
though one is conscious and feels
rejuvenated afterwards. Clients compare
it to the feeling felt after sleeping 8
good hours.
Samvahan to the abdomen for visceral
(organ) work and healing is of course
lighter and organ specific. Again, it is
also quite relaxing and enjoyable.
The session’s emphasis on the front or
back varies and sometimes is split
between the two. The extremities: arm
and legs as well as hands and feet, as
well as cranium and face are included as
sessions progress or as necessary for
conditions etc.
Truly speaking samvahan is different
every time as each person presents
differently and with different needs in
each moment. Samvahan also uses the
intuitive aspects of healing in addition
to its scientific principles.
Samvahan Vibrational Massage is an
experience every one should have. it is
in fact an experience and not simply a
massage.
Simply for
rest and relaxation or for a specific
healing need, you have to reap the
benefits of this ancient and profound
hands-on technique.
Come and see and feel the difference for
yourself.
