Staff of integrative physical therapy

Owner and Founder, Kimberly DelVecchio graduated from Russel l Sage College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Dissatisfied with the quality of care she was witness to in her field; Kimberly created IPT in 2000 to offer an alternative to the production line PT clinics. Kimberly is a manual therapist who is passionate to serve her patients and the community at large. To accomplish this she is endlessly pursuing cutting edge techniques and strategies that uplift and heal. Kimberly has created different wellness programs and often lectures on an integrative approach to healing, the body-mind system and meditation. She specializes in the treatment of chronic pain.

Jill Vigar-Bechard graduated with a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Downstate Medical Center in 1981. Jill’s clinical focus over 25 years of experience has included the care of infants, children and adults with orthopedic and neurological impairments. Jill’s clinical and administrative depth of knowledge supports her as the Clinical Coordinator of IPT. Jill is a leader in the field of physical therapy distinguished by her extensive post graduate training, manual therapy skills and dedication to her patients. Jill is not happy if she has not triumphed over dysfunction or pain and she will not stop looking until she finds her patients the necessary solutions. Jill inspires the best of every one who enters IPT and warms the hearts of us all!

Michael Epelbaum graduated from Kiev State Institute of Physical Culture with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1979. Michael’s training in Russia was highly focused and specialized in Manual Therapy and Manipulation. Trained as a professional athlete in the Soviet Union, Michael has a strong appreciation and knowledge of sport injury rehabilitation. His understanding of muscle function is combined with his passion and gift of manual therapy making his treatment approach powerful and highly effective. Just ask his patients who daily are raving about “Michael’s magic hands”. In 2000 Michael became certified as a Body Work Practitioner. His philosophy is, “Our body is able to cure itself. We just need to find the ‘right’ key.” For the past 26 years Michael has been searching for and discovering that key.
