Success Stories

Here Are Some of Our Clients’ Success Stories.

I first visited IPT in 2000 for chronic neck and back pain. I had been to other doctors, PT offices, pain management centers, chiropractors, etc, and was at the end of my rope. Nothing seemed to provide lasting relief and no one seemed to have more than 5 minutes before they were pushing me out the door. I was falling deeper into depression in addition to my physical pain.

The physical therapy I received at IPT by the compassionate therapists was far superior to any I had before, and there was plenty of time for hands-on treatment. After a lot of hard work on my part and theirs, I have reached a state of happiness and movement that I didn’t think possible and my physical pain has drastically reduced.

Whenever I have a flare-up IPT’s wonderful staff of caring, exceptionally skilled therapists are always there to make me feel better. I would highly recommend IPT to anyone!

Kimberly,
I am deeply grateful to Integrative Physical therapy for expert and caring help provided throughout a long and debilitating time. When I began treatment, I had difficulty walking due to swollen knees, very limited range of motion in both shoulders and extreme weakness. I had pain in my joints due to rheumatoid arthritis, but I had elected not to take the usual drugs. Over the months of treatment, IPT not only provided professional care to regain flexibility and function, but also a welcoming and supportive environment. Alex has been my therapist. He has expert knowledge of the systems of the body, magic hands to relieve pain, but most importantly a happy spirit, full of humor and encouragement. He is a dedicated healer, always learning and sharing with his clients. I can recommend IPT without reservation for anyone seeking to improve physical function.

IPT is a group of caring and competent professionals who have been supporting my degenerative disk disease and fibromyalgia on and off for several years. The predominant culture at IPT is a concern for the physical and emotional well-being of the patients. An appointment with any of the therapists means that you will have their undivided, hands-on attention and that you will not just practice exercises. IPT is a great place to be for anyone who suffers from pain.

I have visited too many clinics where their idea of physical therapy was to send you to a series of exercise machines for 20 minutes and then usher you out the door with a “…we’ll see you in two days”. While having issues with my knees, shoulders, and back, before I discovered IPT, I was the patient described above. Many times I had been told by a co-worker while suffering years of aches, pains, and sprains, that she had a cousin who ran a great clinic, specializing in back issues. It was not until I had an L4-L5 laminectomy in the summer of 2002 that I finally asked for her cousin’s information.

My rehabilitation at IPT was nothing short of phenomenal. The care and support showed by the dedicated staff, from the receptionist to the owner, certainly is an integral reason why they have such success and loyal clients. While the exercise machines are present, it is the “hands-on” approach and the personal “touch” used when dealing with each patient’s distinct issues and problems that make people come from far and wide when in need of physical therapy. Patients are not treated strictly as patients. They are people who need emotional, spiritual as well as physical support. IPT comes through with flying colors in that regard.

Another aspect of IPT that makes them shine as far as I am concerned is the way they become advocates for their patients. If something is not working, they will look into other methods that might show promise. They are not afraid to speak up to doctors and insurance companies if they believe someone might benefit from a different treatment.

While the reason for going to physical therapy is usually never a happy one, it is very comforting to know that IPT is there, ready to offer help for the mind, body, and soul.

I felt like I was truly listened to and given such special attention and care. Everyone at IPT makes you feel like family, it is my most favorite part of the day. And a particular thank you to Jill for her beautiful heart and incredible expertise.

I can’t really explain what the hands-on therapy does, I can only say it feels like they are putting all the pieces back together and my body is very grateful. It truly is amazing. I don’t think people know that this type of physical therapy exists.

I thought I was going to have to have surgery. So did my orthopedist. I walked hunched over and crooked with a limp for months. Then my cousin suggested I try one last-ditch attempt before going for the knife and she sent me to IPT. Now I thank her every time I see her for that recommendation. IPT got me straight, limp-free, and happy. No surgery and I am soon to begin sports again. I drive 35 minutes to IPT and it is so worth it!

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 9 years ago and since then have tried every therapy under the sun, and many physical therapy clinics. I only came to IPT because a friend of mine had such great success and promised IPT was different. She was wonderfully right. I have had the most support, relief, and improvement since coming here. The pain and flare-ups are markedly reduced and I have regained a lot of function. I have so much hope now and feel like I have my life back. Thank you
